The film doesn't even throw up any surprise and follows a mundane approach from the start to the end. The film really does less to connect us with the protagonist and antagonist and it only keeps dragging its predictable storyline towards the end. At this juncture, it looks outdated in many ways, including in the dialogues and the action sequences.

The Warriorr is an action film that should have probably been released a decade ago or so for it to have appealed to the audience. What happens next forms the second half of the film. He reinvents himself in a new avatar and comes back to take revenge after two years. But he is only left with the realisation that Guru is more powerful and it's hard for him to combat the gangster as a doctor. This angers him and he tries to lock horns with Guru. While he tries to save the victim's life as a doctor, Guru's men spoil his efforts. He witnesses the ruthless killing of a common man in the hands of a dreadful gangster called Guru (Aadhi).

The film starts with Sathya (Ram Pothineni) leaving for Madurai to join as a house surgeon in the GH here. The very first introduction scene is nothing short of Tamil cinema template and the film only throws more of these done and dusted templates at us as it progresses. The Warrior, starring Ram Pothineni in the lead role, does really nothing to engage and excite us. But does it really work? Though his intention to make films in his comfort zone is commendable, the director only brings in the same old formula both on paper and screen. The Warriorr Movie Review: After almost four years, Lingusamy is back again with yet another action entertainer. The Warriorr Movie Synopsis: A doctor who faces an evil element in the society transforms himself to uproot it and clean the city.
